Metro Seed has more than 19 years’ experience in the seed business growing
hybrid seeds with our specialized breeders. Our products are sold in both Thai
markets and abroad, providing reliable, high quality hybrid seeds to growers and
distributors.
Metro Seed has three research stations in the north of Thailand and we can
customize a variety of plants to match your needs.
Our first research station, for the development of vegetable seeds, is located in
Nan province. This research station has an area of 22 acre primarily engaged
in breeding Hybrid Cucumber, Hybrid Hot Pepper, Hybrid Bitter Gourd,
Hybrid Bottle Gourd,Hybrid Loofah, Hybrid Tomato and Hybrid Melon.
Our second research station, located in Chiang Mai province, has an area of
12.50 acre. This station breeds various types of corn and Hybrid watermelon.
Our third research station, located in Chiang Mai province, has an area of
11.50 acre. This station breeds variety type of corn such as Hybrid sweet corn,
Hybrid sweet waxy corn white-purple, Hybrid sweet waxy purple corn,
Hybrid sweet waxy white corn and Hybrid sweet corn (Bi-color)
Totally 3 research station area is 46 acre.
